Zoom Integration Guide

1. Adding the Zoom App

To connect your Zoom account to Sagework:

1. Sign in to your Sagework account.
2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
3. Click Connect next to Zoom.
4. You will be redirected to Zoom to authorize access. Review the permissions and click Allow.
5. Once authorized, you will be redirected back to Sagework. Your Zoom account will appear as connected in your integration settings.

Sagework requests the minimum permissions required to provide meeting insights:

• Access to your Zoom meeting list and metadata
• Ability to join meetings as a notetaker bot (only when you opt in)
• Access to cloud recordings and transcripts (if enabled in your Zoom account)

2. Using the Zoom App

Once connected, Sagework uses your Zoom integration to provide:

AI Chat for Meetings

Ask questions about your past meetings and recordings directly in the Sagework AI chat. Get summaries, action items, and key discussion points from any meeting with a transcript.

Meeting Transcription

When you opt in, Sagework can join your Zoom meetings as a notetaker bot to automatically transcribe the conversation. Transcripts are stored securely and accessible only to you. Audio recordings are automatically deleted within 2 hours of meeting completion.

1:1 Meeting Prep

Sagework uses meeting context from Zoom alongside your other connected tools (GitHub, Jira, Slack) to generate intelligent 1:1 preparation notes, helping you have more productive conversations with your team members.

3. Removing the Zoom App

You can disconnect Zoom from Sagework at any time:

From Sagework

1. Sign in to your Sagework account.
2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
3. Click Disconnect next to Zoom.
4. Confirm the disconnection. Your Zoom OAuth tokens will be deleted immediately.

From the Zoom Marketplace

You can also revoke access directly from Zoom:

1. Visit the Zoom App Marketplace.
2. Go to Manage > Installed Apps.
3. Find Sagework and click Uninstall.

After disconnecting, Sagework will no longer have access to your Zoom data. Previously generated transcripts will remain in your Sagework account until you delete them or request account deletion.

4. Data & Privacy

Sagework takes your privacy seriously. For the Zoom integration specifically:

• OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and deleted immediately upon disconnection
• Meeting audio is auto-deleted within 2 hours of meeting completion
• Transcripts are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and accessible only to the authenticated user
• Your data is never used to train AI models
